The Sheep Show and Sale takes place at the livestock tents on Fulton Street at the New Holland Sales Stables. Participants should review the information below for Market Swine and direct any questions to the listed chairman.

Eligibility
- Any boy or girl who is a member in good standing of a chartered FFA chapter or 4-H club in Lancaster County in good standing.
- All market swine must be entered at the fairgrounds by 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening and remain on the fair grounds until 10 p.m. Friday. All market swine will be weighed on the same set of scales on Tuesday between 6–8 p.m. Exhibitors must be present at weigh-in.
Preregistration
- Exhibitors must pre-register using the Showman App website by Monday, September 22, 2025.
- Be prepared to enter 840 RFID tag, showmanship years.
- Pay a $5 entry fee at time of registration on the Showman App.
- Exhibitors should register for showmanship using the Showman App.
- Senior Showman: 5 or more years experience
- Junior Showman: 2–4 years experience
- Novice Showman: 1st year showman
- Exhibitors may register up to 2 animals per weight class. .
- Current health papers valid within 30 days of check-in must be submitted at weigh in.
Health
- No show swine showing clinical signs of contagious, infectious or external parasitic disease including foot rot and sore mouth will be admitted to the show.
- All swine must be identified by an official 840 RFID tag.
- An official certificate of Veterinary Inspection (AAI-13) signed by an accredited veterinarian must accompany all swine. It must state that the animal(s) show no signs of contagious or infectious diseases. A current health certificate must accompany the animal.
- Any animal of unthrifty nature, unsuitable finish and condition, or which cannot be satisfactorily handled under show conditions must be removed from the fairgrounds.
General Rules
- All show swine must weigh between 220–290 lbs.
- Exhibitors will provide their own feed, trough, and water bucket and see that their animals are fed and cared for during the fair. Bedding will be provided.
- Appropriate show attire is required. Collared shirts, jeans & boots are recommended.
- Swine are not permitted to leave the fairground upon entry.
- Exhibitors are expected to help with cleanup on Friday evening after the sale.
