What is your favorite fair memory?

“So many!  I’ll always remember my daughter winning her first ribbon at the fair.  Also, my winning ribbons in highly contested vegetable categories like Kennebec Potatoes and Red Bell Peppers.  The performances of the bands in the parade are an annual highlight.  Also one year in the parade there was a giant whoopie pie dancing in a shopping cart.  You haven’t truly lived until you’ve seen something like that!”

What is your favorite fair memory?

What do you enjoy most about the fair?

“My official title is Concessions Manager, but I prefer to think of myself as Goodwill Ambassador & Problem Solver.  I really do enjoy the controlled chaos of Setup Day.  It is very fulfilling to watch all the vendors work together on setup day and see all my extensive pre-planning materialize on the streets.  Then it is fun to visit with the vendors throughout the week to let them know we appreciate them, and to help them work through any challenges that might arise.”

What is your favorite fair memory?

“The on-camera interview that I did with Fox43 News in 2024.  Was really nervous but I nailed it!!!!!”
